Need help getting a question answered? A reference librarian at the Ela Library can assist you with your information needs.
You can direct brief questions to a librarian at the Adult Reference Desk during regular library hours using the lower part of the window at the left (i.e., where it says "Type here...") whenever a librarian is online. Remember to press the <enter> key after you have typed your question or response. Please remember that this service is meant to answer brief questions requiring short answers. More involved questions should be asked in person at the Adult Reference Desk, over the telephone or by email.
Circulation questions (e.g., renewing books), questions relating to the Children's Department (or departments other than the Adult Reference Department) and program registration questions should be directed to the appropriate department (please see the Library's contact us web page).
Also, please be patient. The librarian may be assisting
other patrons when you submit your question.
