Watch, Read, and Learn - Scholastic BookFlix is a new online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks to build a love of reading and learning. The engaging way to link fact and fiction, BookFlix reinforces early reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration.
Online collection of animated, talking picture books for children created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which children can read, or have read to them. Books are viewable through your computer monitor.

All you need is a valid Ela Library card and the following free software for the type of digital book that you wish to borrow.

Gale Virtual Reference Library
Keyword searchable encyclopedias and reference books related to the arts, biographies, business, education, environment, general reference, history, information and publishing, law, literature, medicine, multicultural studies, nation and world, religion, science, and social science. These titles are online versions of the same Gale print reference resources found in many library reference collections.
All of the included titles are keyword searchable and viewable on your computer screen.
Access hundreds of computer, IT and other recent and high demand technology titles from O’Reilly Media, The Pearson Technology Group and other key publishers.
Check with librarian for username and password to access within the Library. Remote users only need their Ela Library card barcode number.
