Free Tunes by Freegal - Looking for a way to get free MP3 music that you can play on any iPod, iPhone or other MP3 player? Freegal Music offers over 11 million songs from over 50 Sony-affiliated labels including Columbia, RCA, Sony Classical and Arista. You'll need your library card number and you're limited to 5 downloads a week, but everything you download is yours to keep!

Hoopla - Ela Area Public Library cardholders can create an account and log in to begin enjoying hundreds of TV episodes, movies, e-books, and music available to borrow for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets and computers.

Kanopy - Ela Area Public Library cardholders can create an account for on-demand access to classic films and documentaries. Kanopy also includes children's programming through its "Kids" section. Kanopy also has an app for IOS and Android.  


Magazines, Newspapers, Journals and Video Podcasts - Browse through the Library’s vast collection of digital magazines, newspapers and journals. Also, find news broadcasts and current event podcasts in Global Issues in Context. Search through Chicago Tribune articles dated back to the American Civil War. You may even research a variety of subjects with Opposing Viewpoints. What will you discover?
