GoPros are available for Ela cardholders ages 12 and up to check-out. There is a limit of one GoPro per person. They check-out for two weeks and are not renewable. They can be placed on hold. GoPros are checked out and returned to the Adult Reference Desk on the 2nd floor of the Library. In addition to a basic GoPro kit, we have a set of extra mounts available, including a floating hand grip, head strap, chest strap, arm strap, and wrist strap.
Check the Library's catalog for availability and to place a hold on a GoPro HERO or a GoPro HERO Session. Note: if you want to place a hold that covers both cameras and gives you whichever comes in first, we can do that for you at the Adult Reference Desk! Stop by, call us at 847-438-3433 ext. 502, or fill out our contact form for assistance.
The GoPro HERO Session is a model that is newer and smaller than the original HERO, but they both take great action videos.
