We're excited to be working with the Village of Lake Zurich Parks and Recreation Department and the Ancient Oaks Foundation to bring you storywalks in area parks.

Storytime @Home
Ms. Anna & Ms. Jillian present Storytime @ Home videos with all your favorite songs, rhymes & books!
Register by Friday, June 11th and Friday, June 25th and a link to view the video will be emailed to you and available for two weeks.

Pit Stop Take Home Activity Kits

Sign up for a summer-themed kit full of crafts, activities, and surprises! Due to high demand, kits require registration and are limited to Ela Area Library cardholders. Your library card number is required to register.
Registration begins Tuesday, June 1st at 9am. Kits may be picked up curbside or at the Children's Desk between June 14-30th.
For ages 0-12.

Art Programs

Art Programs with Terri Murphy
Registrations begins Sat., May 1st at 10am. Starting on May 3rd, registrants may pick up a kit containing supplies and the link to the YouTube video needed to complete the project. Space for kits is limited and for Ela cardholders only.
Seedpod Prairie Collage: Create a plant landscape using cut, torn, and painted textured construction paper. A great Mother's Day activity for the family! For ages 8 to adult.
Art Programs with Christine Thornton 
Gather your own supplies and join Christine online. Each class features an instructional video through YouTube and the chance to connect with the teacher and classmates on Facebook.
A link to the video is sent to your email. Registration is required.
Fox in Flowers Painting: Learn to paint an adorable fox snuggled in a field of flowers.
Video is available Thurs., June 24th 10am- Wed. June 30th 9pm, For ages 7 and up.
Art Programs with Mark Anderson
Get your paper and pencils ready and join Mark on Zoom for these live, interactive cartooning classes. The zoom link will be sent to your email the morning of the program.
Tale of Two Tails: Begin by drawing tons of animals with amazing tails! Peacocks! Scorpions! Rattlesnakes & Hippos! (Wait until you learn how hippos use their tails. Gross.) Then draw your own creative stories.
Monday, June 14th from 1-2pm. Please register. For ages 5-12.
