Intergenerational Pen Pal Program
A new friendship is only one letter away! The library will be pairing up young folks (grades 2-8) with local senior living residents for a letter-writing exchange. Librarians will deliver letters from the library to senior residences and back again. Please email your child(s) full name, and grade to childrens1@eapl.org. We will reply with additional information including age appropriate guidelines and writing prompts.

Art Programs

Realistic Owls: An Online Drawing Program - with Christine Thornton
We'll warm up by drawing owl eyes. Then you'll choose your favorite owl to make into a final drawing. This online class includes an instructional video, and a chance to connect with the teacher and classmates on Facebook. Register and a link to the online instructional video will be sent to your email and will be available for use from Thursday, July 16 through Weds, July 22 at 9pm. This program is recommended for ages 9 and up.

Chibi Harry Potter: An Online Art Workshop - with Christine Thornton
Learn how to draw Harry Potter and Hermione in the adorable chibi style. This online class includes an instructional video, and a chance to connect with the teacher and classmates on Facebook. Register by 9am and a link will be sent to your email by 10am. Watch and re-watch as many times as you like from Thursday, July 30 through Weds, August 6 at 9pm. This program is recommended for ages 7 and up.

Sticky Fingers Cooking Classes
Release your inner chef with the Sticky Fingers master cooking instructors! The link to the class and the grocery list will be emailed to registered participants on Tuesday before the class. Valid email address is required. Registration is limited to Ela Cardholders.
