The library subscribes to a wide range of databases that can help with assignments. Here you’ll find online encyclopedias, digital magazine and newspaper articles, as well as resources to help with biography projects, and country and state assignments.
Due to licensing restrictions, only Ela cardholders can access the library's databases from outside the library. Cardholders from other libraries can access the databases from within the Ela Library.

eLibraryPlus - full-text articles from newspapers, magazines, and transcripts from television and radio programs.Encyclopedia Britannica - Kids contains thousands of entries on subjects around the world.

SIRS Discoverer - a collection of full-text articles from resources especially selected for younger readers.Something About the Author - information about your favorite authors directly from the book.
World Book Encyclopedia - includes encyclopedia entries, pictures, videos, student activities, and more.

Chicago Tribune Historical Index - articles and actual images of newspaper pages from 1890 to 1986.
Newspapers - Current Local News
Chicago Tribune - full-text of local and regional news from 1996 to the present.
