The Ela Area Public Library Board is seeking applicants to fill the seats of board members whose terms will expire in April 2021. Candidates who are elected at the April 6, 2021 consolidated election will fill four four-year term openings.
Those interested may pick up petition a packet by calling the Library’s Information Desk (847-438-3433 x 0) or by downloading a packet. The packet includes a petition form that must be filed bearing a total of 50 signatures of district residents. Petitions can be circulated immediately. The filing period for ballot positions will run Monday, December 14, 2020 through Monday, December 21, 2020.
Completed papers should be returned to the Library. Any registered voter who resides in the Library’s district may submit nomination papers for the election.
