Warren-Newport Library to Join Consortium

From September 1-4, Library services will be temporarily paused or very limited in order to integrate Warren-Newport Public Library into the consortium, a "cooperative" of 29 libraries from all over the Chicagoland area. Good news -- Warren Newport's addition to the consortium will add 300,000 more items to the catalog! Here's what you should know during the integration period:

  • Bring your library card to check out items or place holds.

  • Check Out Materials
  • Holds Pickup
  • Drive-up
  • Paying for Prints with an Ela library card

Paused Services:

  • Creating New Library Cards
  • Updating Expired Library Cards
  • Materials Check-In
  • Placing Holds
  • Paying Fines
  • Self Check Stations

Very Limited Services:

  • Account Access
  • Catalog Searches
  • Some Library Databases and Digital Services
