Policy

The purpose of the Ela Area Public Library Disaster Plan is to define the steps and procedures that the Library will implement in the event of an emergency or disaster. It is a comprehensive guide to dealing with emergency situations, disasters, and disaster recovery. The plan is meant to be a practical tool with its primary goal being the safety of staff and patrons. After the primary goal of life safety is met, the plan is meant to be used to expedite the recovery of library service to the community.
