Incoming kindergarten students (with an adult) are invited to this open house event at the Library on Tues., Aug. 5 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. or Wed., Aug. 6 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Stop in to meet other families who will become a part of your school community. Activities include:
- Create a keepsake art project to commemorate starting kindergarten
- Play games to help make new friends and practice kindergarten readiness skills
- Read books about starting school and trying new things
- Record your hopes for the upcoming school year on our community wishing wall
- Take fun photos with props at our photo booth
