Four trustees were elected to the Library’s Board of Trustees in April. Newcomers Betty Birner, Adam Gira and Karol Sucec along with re-elected trustee Cathy McCauley, serving her second term, were sworn in May 20. Each are serving a four-year term. The new trustees fill positions previously held by Eric Corzine, Mary Silcroft and Alicia Timm, who did not seek reelection.
The Ela Area Public Library extends our sincere gratitude to former Trustees Corzine, Silcroft and Timm for their dedication to the Library. Eric Corzine served three four-year terms on the Board, most recently as treasurer. Mary Silcoft and Alician Timm were elected in 2021 and served one term. These distinguished community leaders have been a tremendous asset to EAPL and the community. We are grateful for their service. At a recent meeting, the Board approved a celebratory resolution for each former trustee.
